KVUNO REBRAND
KVUNO
Distinct Social Mission
Launched in 2019 as a Solidaridad activity in Mozambique, Kvuno is an independent social enterprise providing affordable, bundled services to smallholder farmers across Malawi, Zambia, and Mozambique. In 2022, Kvuno underwent a rebrand and approached Motakie to help establish a distinct brand identity that reflects its social mission and commitment to promoting wealth for smallholder farmers. The rebrand aimed to position Kvuno as a key player across the agriculture value chain while maintaining its focus on the needs of smallholder farmers.
STRATEGY
Motakie developed KVUNO's visual identity using the branded house approach. This approach involves giving each KVUNO service a distinctive name and logo to highlight each service's individuality while enhancing brand recognition and increasing overall brand presence. The branding style is human-centred and approachable, creating a welcoming atmosphere that builds trust and emphasises Kvuno's three main pillars: Building Relationships, Offering Bundles of Digital Services, and Rewarding Good Agricultural Practices.
OUTCOMES
Motakie implemented the Kvuno brand identity across various communication and marketing materials, such as banners, brochures, uniforms, brand stationery, and a pitch deck that helped Kvuno secure funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Motakie continues to develop collateral as required by KVUNO.
